Fairs and congresses in Kopenhagen, Denmark

Copenhagen is Denmark’s capital and home to 559,440 inhabitants. In the economic and cultural center of the country, the parliament and the government are situated. Moreover, Queen Margaret II is residing here. This port city in Northern Europe is a popular tourist destination. The urban area spreads across several islands in the Baltic Sea. Sights that should not be missed are the amusement park Tivoli directly opposite of the main station, the Round Tower and the Trinity Church. The shopping streets Stroget and Straedet make up a popular shopping arcade. Not far from there, the Christiansborg Palace is located – a downright must-see for tourists. Nyhavn with its pretty gable houses, directly located at the port, is another place to be. Of course, the culinary delicacy of Smorrebrod – sandwiches and salads – should not be missed when being in Copenhagen.
