With about five million inhabitants, St- Petersburg is the second-largest Russian city. It was founded by Peter the Great in 1703. At the end of June, the whole city celebrates the longest day of the year, when the sun does not go down. The Pulkovo Airport is regularly served by international airlines. Express trains go from Moscow to St. Petersburg multiple times a day.
